Asheville has been kind to me. I’ve been able to go on plenty of hikes since I’ve been back, and I have to say I prefer the solitude here to the madhouse nature of hiking in Seoul. Here you’ll encounter less than 5 folks on most trails, while there you’ll always have 5 people in sight. I haven’t had a chance to hit any multi-day hikes since Annapurna, but walking holidays keep popping up in my social deal sites and I would like to get away sometime soon. Two of my Couchsurfing friends just left to take on the Appalachian Trail and I’m insanely jealous!
